The venue of the Workshop was chosen city of Haifa – Israel’s third largest city and northern capital, which is situated in a broad natural bay between the beautiful Mediterranean Sea and the awe – inspiring Carmel Mountain. Magnificent Bahá’í Gardens, theaters, museums, cinemas, elegant hotels, air-conditioned shopping malls, pearly beaches – Haifa has it all. The city’s terraced landscape offers a rich variety of breathtaking panoramas, giving the observer the sensation of being on a heavenly peninsula.
The Workshop will be held at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, the leading polytechnic university in the country, at the facilities of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, the National Building Research Institute .
The gathering and registration will be held at the Water Research Institute.

How to arrive to the Technion by public transportation:
From Ben Gurion airport/Tel Aviv Center, the easiest way to reach Haifa is by train.
Haifa has two main bus-train terminals:
* Hof HaCarmel – The number 11 bus is a direct bus to the Technion. It leaves from platform 16 and runs once or twice an hour. Otherwise take the 123 line from platform 15; you will have to change at Ziv center (ask the driver where to get off) to any bus going to the Technion (11, 17, 19, 31).
*Merkazit Hamifrats – The 142 line reaches the Technion. It leaves from platform 21 and runs a few times a day. Otherwise take the 16 line from platform 23; you will have to change at Ziv (ask the driver where to get off) to any bus going to the Technion (11, 17, 19, 31).
At the Technion the closest bus station to the faculty is the “Technion/Sports Building” bus station.
